problem
Sunshine Group is the world's largest wool textile manufacturer, however, in recent years, due to the massive loss of workers in the textile industry, the company has had to start expanding its factories to third world countries. 2016, Sunshine Group's wool textile project invested in Ethiopia was officially signed at the Prime Minister's Office in Ethiopia, and since then Jiangsu Sunshine has started to establish a large textile base in Ethiopia.
How to help textile companies train mending workers in third country factories to improve their productivity under epidemic conditions?

Project Timeline

User Research
After visiting the production line, I found that the process of Mending was the core cause of low productivity, so I started a qualitative research around the manager, local mending workers and Ethiopian mending workers.

Technical analysis
The core of the fabric trimming process is only two points:
-
Identify the fabric Structure characteristics
-
Learn the standard operation method

Then our goal was to change the inconvenience of teaching in the field caused by the epidemic, for which our solution was to use MR technology for remote supervision and teaching of workers.

IDEAte
Based on user research, fieldwork and analysis of technical difficulties, I was responsible for ideating the software part of the product, which is the teaching system itself.

prototype
After sorting out the entire product's information framework and the core functionality on each page,I completed the prototype for the teaching system.
